Proceed North
on Colorado Hwy.9 for approx.10 miles to an intersection just
South of Fairplay.
Hwy.9 merges
with Colorado285 just outside of Fairplay. This lasts for about
1.5 miles (You will reach a T intersection south of Fairplay turn
Right onto HWY 285 and Go North approx 1 mile. Look for the Pizza
Hut on the left, the next major intersection Colorado 9 turns
back to your left.)
Once you
have made the Left on Colorado 9 you will go through the town
of Fairplay, one of 2 major Speed traps, speed limit is 25 miles
per hour.
Continue
to proceed North on Colorado 9 for approx. 5 miles to Alma. Alma
is the second major speed trap where speed limit is 30.
Once you
pass though Alma you are approx 20 minutes from Breckenridge over
Hoosier pass. Watch for ice on the pass particularly the descent.
As you enter
Breckenridge Colorado 9 becomes Main Street.
The First
stop light you come to is Broken Lance where you will make a left
onto Broken Lance Drive.
(Look for the Conoco Gas Station on left. Just prior to the Conoco,
is the stoplight where you turn left onto Broken Lance Drive.)
Proceed to the first stop sign (200 yards). Check-in is at the
Corral Building directly on your right, 700 Broken Lance Drive.
