Approximate drive time: 2hrs

Summit County is located about 100 miles west of Denver International Airport and is easily accessed via the four-lane Interstate 70. A beautiful drive that requires no mountain-pass crossings, I-70 takes you through the Continental Divide by way of the Eisenhower Tunnel and straight into Summit County. Or you can opt for the more scenic route up and over Loveland Pass (US 6; exit just before the tunnel), which takes you past Arapahoe Basin Ski Area and Keystone Resort, into the towns of Dillon and Silverhorne.
